====== Building OpenSSL 1.0.1 with SCTP support ======


Download OpenSSL 1.0.1c or higher from http://www.openssl.org and detar it.


# Configure OpenSSL for Mac OS X 64 bit

./Configure darwin64-x86_64-cc sctp threads shared --prefix=$HOME/install


# Configure OpenSSL for any other system (Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris...)

./config sctp threads shared --prefix=$HOME/install


# Build everything and install software only (skips man pages to save a lot of time)

make

make install_sw


# Download Charachter Generator test program and certificates

# Unzip

unzip dtls_sctp_chargen.zip

cd dtls_sctp_chargen

# Build Mac OS X or Linux

gcc -g -O2 -Wall -g -ansi -pedantic -L$HOME/install/lib -I$HOME/install/include -o dtls_sctp_chargen dtls_sctp_chargen.c -lssl -lcrypto -lpthread -lsctp


# Build FreeBSD

gcc -g -O2 -Wall -g -ansi -pedantic -L$HOME/install/lib -I$HOME/install/include -o dtls_sctp_chargen dtls_sctp_chargen.c -lssl -lcrypto -lpthread

# Set required environment variable for FreeBSD and Linux (bash)
